In early 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic, the traditional functions of the office changed overnight! Millions of workers were forced to work from home and it soon became evident that you didn’t necessarily need to be in an office to do office work. Once the virus was under control, workers slowly began to return to the office, however the pandemic had left its scar and the office, should, could and would never be the same again! A new future had begun.

Spaces need to become larger, hybrid, open, flexible, enjoyable, colourful, collaborative, social, relaxing, and connecting.

The challenge of an empty traditional office space

Private sector businesses, Public sector offices and global organisations were all faced with the same set of issues. Facilities and buildings that were suddenly too numerous, too large, “out of date,” too expensive and completely unsuitable for the new future. Buildings that were full of walls and doors, closed spaces, and large open spaces with too many “desks.”

How could these issues be resolved?

No problem, we’ll take back the unwanted pieces and give them a new lease of life. Sounds easy, and it is. Office life is complicated enough as it is, isn’t it?

M+ is designed and manufactured by ROFA, a company founded in 1991 in Rijen, Netherlands. Since 2024, we have been working in a modern, beautiful, bright, and highly sustainable office and factory on the outskirts of Tilburg, Brabant. ROFA is an international company specializing in sustainable industrial furniture upholstery. We work closely with our partners as a team and take care of everything from start to finish.
