The modular M+Room system offers privacy for collaboration, meetings, video, and voice calls, or a moment for quiet reflection. The acoustic walls achieve a 35 dB attenuation, and whether you are inside or outside you notice the silence.
Intelligent ventilation
M+Room is self-ventilating: M+Room features a ventilation grille distributing fresh air around the room, whilst stale air is extracted by silent ceiling fans, maintaining a constant temperature and CO₂ level. The ventilation is controlled by manual adjustment.
Sustainable materials and production
M+Room is constructed using certified sustainable wood products, recycled insulation material, and upholstery made from recycled PET, wool, and material offcuts. The products are manufactured in an energy neutral factory using locally sourced materials to reduce the carbon footprint.

M+Room can be fully customised to your needs in terms of dimensions, finish, upholstery, and features. The circular design concept ensures the room remains reusable, thus preserving the long-term value of your investment.
CO₂ passport
At Moduplus, we provide CO₂ passports for the basic elements of M+Room. These clearly show the carbon footprint of the products. The calculations include the extraction of raw materials, transport, and material manufacturing. The value is then compared to that of other common product types for clarity. How quiet is an M+Room?
You can compare M+ to a library. In an M+Room, you experience true tranquility and thanks to class A acoustic wall elements, sound is absorbed to a maximum degree. Class Akoustiek wall elements are classified as the most effective sound absorbers according to European standards. In an M+Room, they provide sound insulation of up to 35 db.
What does this mean in practice? In an M+Room, you can make calls, host and join meetings, make presentations and work undisturbed. We’re not claiming it’s a completely silent environment, as that depends on the noise level outside, but it’s much quieter, and outside you can only hear a murmur. Ideal for privacy and concentration in a busy work environment.
Can my space grow with my team?
Absolutely! M+Room is modular, meaning you can easily adapt it to the size and needs of your team. Need more space? Simply add extra modules. Need less space? You can adjust the configuration just as easily. Thanks to its clever design, M+Room remains flexible and future-proof, whether you’re growing, shrinking, or changing your office layout.
What impact do natural sustainable materials have on the working environment?
M+Room features extensive use of wood for accents, wall and ceiling panels, frames, tables, and whiteboards. M+Room exudes both warmth and sustainability, with a beautiful blend of accents that deliver a natural and tranquil atmosphere. The concept also incorporates upholstered acoustic panels, and open slatted ceilings.
For these elements, we feature two “wood” options:
1) Fraké wood, which is a lightweight, sustainable black stained (RAL9005 black) alternative to oak. This adds an easy to care for calming appearance to the room.
2) Laminated bamboo, which delivers strength and flexibility, high sustainability and is easy to care for as it does not require the application of any treatment. We use bamboo on our tables and “roof” slats and in other areas, making M+Room an aesthetically pleasing low carbon footprint alternative.
By choosing these sustainable types of wood, we contribute to an environmentally friendly solution that is not only visually appealing but also good for the planet.
How robust is M+Room? Can it withstand enthusiastic team gatherings?
M+Room is designed to withstand pretty much everything you “throw” at it, including the occasional work event and party. The sustainable wood and acoustic wall panels are designed and built to last intensive daily use. The modular construction provides added stability, while the design incorporates clever solutions to prevent wear and tear. All M+Room components are manufactured and tested in-house, so you can rely on the highest quality.
Can I reuse or recycle parts?
Yes, you can! M+Room is designed to do both and you can choose to participate in our “take-back program” at end of life. Where we take back the used parts, check their quality, replace the upholstery, and reintroduce them into the material cycle. This eliminates the need to manufacture new products, contributing to a sustainable future. You’re investing in an environmentally friendly solution where nothing goes to waste.
Does air quality in an M+Room remain good even when many people are present?
The M+Room ensures optimal air quality at all times, even during multiple use. M+Room is equipped with an intelligent ventilation system which features: A ventilation grille at the wall base that provides fresh air which enters the room via an air duct. Quiet ceiling fans then expel the air; the number of fans varies depending on the room size.
The fans run in your chosen setting by default but can also be adjusted manually via the control panel in the ceiling, allowing you to ensure an ideal indoor climate regardless of the number of people present or the length of their stay. So, there’s never a shortage of fresh energy.
How long is the lead time?
Lead-times for M+Rooms depend on the specifications you choose. However this is normally within 8 weeks from receipt of order.
